Final Version of Submission
According to the regulations of IEEE, all papers to be included in the proceedings of ICOCN'2014 have to be IEEE Xplore-compatible. IEEE PDF eXpress is a free service to IEEE conferences, allowing their authors to make IEEE Xplore-compatible PDFs or to check the PDFs. Copyright of Submission
For all the accepted papers, the authorized copyright should be submitted to the organization committee. Otherwise, the papers without authorized copyrights cannot be included in the proceedings of ICOCN'2014. There is an ecopyright function in EDAS when you submit your final accepted manuscript.

News: The authors of a number of selected papers will be invited to submit an extended version of their work to Special Issues of the Springer journal of Photonic Network Communications (a formal review process will be carried out; however, the first decision on each submitted paper will be out within 2 months).
Paper submission: Prospective authors must submit original papers of not more than four (4) pages in standard IEEE format (or using the ICOCN2014 template) using the EDA submission system, https://www.edas.info/newPaper.php?c=18241. Note that there are three tracks in the paper submission main webpage, and for each track, there are two entrances respective for regular paper submission and invited paper submission. Please choose the links according to the categories.
Welcome to Suzhou! (Call for papers)
The 13th International Conference on Optical Communications and Networks (ICOCN) will be held during November 9-10, 2014 at Suzhou, one of the most beautiful cities in China (see Wikipedia introduction). The conference and symposium aim to provide a premier opportunity for professionals, experts, engineers, scientists and industrial people worldwide in the field of research, development and applications of photonics to share and exchange their experience. Three will be three tracks including (1) Optical networks, (2) Optical transmission subsystems and techniques, (3) Photonic devices and integration.
